Join Sheila Shea for an Join Sheila Shea for a Yoga Flow & Embodied Movement workshop, where we’ll explore fluid, asana sequences that support self-inquiry and authentic expression. This practice encourages you to move free from judgment or expectation, honoring your body’s natural rhythm. Along the way, we’ll bring in a sense of playfulness—reminding ourselves that movement can be fun as well as grounding.
Together, we’ll deepen awareness of the powerful connection between body, breath, and mind, cultivating freedom, presence, and ease through movement. The workshop will conclude with an extended savasana and the option for hands-on assists.
Sheila studied Embodied Movement with Praveen Nair at Yoga Sadhana in Rishikesh, India, where she earned her
300-hour RYT certification. She is grateful to share this practice—grounded in the wisdom of her teacher—with
humility, joy, and appreciation for the community.

Sequencing a yoga class is like create a story. Intelligent storytelling allows the practitioner to move with consciousness and flow, best preparing them for the peak pose.
In this workshop, we will dive into the wonderful yet sometimes complex world of sequencing a yoga class.
We will address transitions, time management, anatomy and using sun salutation variations towards working into a peak pose. Whether you are a new teacher just starting to craft your flows, or a seasoned teacher that has found yourself in a funk, we will collaborate using tools, techniques and community to create a safe and fun practice for all levels.

• Learn about the Vata Dosha, the predominant energy of winter, and how to bring it into balance through lifestyle, food, and routine
• Explore Gentle Vata balancing yoga and breathwork to ground and restore
• Sip warming herbal tea and sample seasonal Ayurvedic treats

Providing adjustments in class is a powerful tool for teachers to use in public and private settings to better connect students with their bodies and the material.
Before you make contact, it is important to understand both anatomy, the asana and the potency of supporting another body.
In this workshop, we will practice safe and accessible adjustment for commonly practiced asana, using verbal assists and how to use props as a helpful adjusting tool.

This four-week Journey to All Level’s series is designed to break down some of the more intermediate poses including but not limited to backbends, twists, hip openers and building stamina.
This workshop series is designed to be a continuation of the Beginner Series but is appropriate for all students who have the foundational poses down and want to build up to an All Levels practice.
